Practical tips
Dress code.
Manila business districts run a smart casual dress code. Shorts, thongs and open sandals are not permitted in most office buildings, including ours.
Weather.
We are in the wet season from June to October. Heavy monsoon downpours arrive suddenly. Pack an umbrella and a light rain jacket.
Cash.
ATMs accept foreign cards, usually with a ₱250 fee. You can bring up to USD $10,000 in cash without declaring it to customs.
